PUBLIC HEARING ON PEPCO

The Maryland Public Service Commission (PSC) will hold a hearing this Monday, August 30th,  6 PM at the Montgomery County Council's Stella Werner Office Building, 100 Maryland Avenue in Rockville.  The purpose of the hearing is for the PSC to receive public comments as part of an ongoing investigation into the reliability of the Pepco distribution system and the quality of its distribution service. I will testify Monday night and you and your neighbors are invited to come share your Pepco experiences with the PSC.  Each person who signs up to speak will be given five minutes.  A sign-up sheet will be available thirty minutes prior to the hearing and remember to bring your photo id in order to get into the 3rd floor Hearing Room.

If you are unable to attend, please be advised that the PSC will accept your written comments into the record.  All written statements must be received by the PSC by August 31st.  If you wish to submit written testimony, please reference "Case No. 9240 - Public Comment" and send it to:  Terry Romaine, Executive Secretary, Maryland Public Service Commission, William Donald Schaefer Tower, Six St. Paul Street, 16th Floor, Baltimore, Maryland  21202. 

Additionally, the public hearing will be televised live by County Cable Montgomery (CCM - Cable Channel 6 on Comcast and RCN, Channel 30 on Verizon).  The broadcast can also be seen via streaming though the County Web site by clicking this link.
