TEACHERS ENDORSE FELDMAN RE-ELECTION BID

Chair, Montgomery County House Delegation
Member, Economic Matters Committee
House Chair, Joint Information Technology & Biotechnology Committee
Chair, House Banking, Economic Development, Science & Technology Subcommittee

Dear Friend,

During the past eight years, I have worked hard to improve our community and I look forward to the opportunity to continue to represent District 15 in the Maryland House of Delegates.

I have focused on passing laws to foster Maryland's emerging Biotechnology industry and to grow our State's economy.  I have also fought to enhance our education system, protect our environment, strengthen our consumer protection laws and improve our transportation infrastructure.

As I transition from the recent legislative session to the campaign trail, I am honored to announce this early endorsement.

Montgomery County Teachers' Endorsement

High quality public education is at the heart of why many of us have chosen to live and raise our families in Montgomery County.  In 2009 and 2010, Maryland was ranked by Education Week as having the top public schools in the entire Nation.  Strong support for our public education system and our teachers has been a priority for me in the General Assembly.

In recognition of my advocacy and commitment to public school education, the Montgomery County Education Association (MCEA), representing over 12,000 classroom teachers, guidance counselors and non-supervisory certified educators in the Montgomery County Public Schools, has endorsed my re-election.
