Dear Friends,

Tomorrow is Primary Election Day and I am energized by the widespread support my re-election campaign for the Maryland House of Delegates has generated.  All signs point toward  a strong result.

Over the past two weeks, I have received endorsements from both The Washington Post and The Gazette.  These endorsements are the capstone of a long list of organizations from across the political spectrum that support my re-election.  They include our teachers, fire fighters, police, labor, environmental and business communities, in addition to numerous other groups. It has been a privilege to represent the 15th Legislative District in the Maryland House of Delegates, and if re-elected, I will continue to diligently work on your behalf.  I ask for your vote tomorrow.

As Chair of the Montgomery County House Delegation, I believe it is more critical than ever to elect strong legislators who are intelligent, pragmatic and substantive.  In District 15, we are extremely fortunate to have a team which possesses these qualities and I am proud to be a part of a formal slate with Senator Rob Garagiola, Delegate Kathleen Dumais and Aruna Miller. Finally, I want to express my sincere appreciation to everyone who has volunteered and provided financial support for my campaign.  After the polls close on Tuesday evening, please join the District 15 Team for food, drinks and conversation, as we watch the election results.  The Election Night Party will be held at Beale Street Grill (www.bealestreetgrill.com), which is located in the Traville Gateway Shopping Center on Shady Grove Road (near the Universities of Shady Grove).
