Dear Friends,

With the General Election only a few days away, my re-election campaign for the Maryland House of Delegates continues to generate widespread support.  All indications point toward a successful result on Tuesday, November 2nd.

After receiving the support of The Gazette last week, The Washington Post followed suit this week with a strong endorsement of my re-election bid:  "District 15: Three exceptionally well-qualified Democratic incumbents deserve re-election...In the House race, incumbent Del. The backing of The Washington Post and The Gazette cap off a long list of endorsements from organizations that span the political spectrum.  It includes our teachers, fire fighters, police, labor, environmental and business communities, in addition to numerous other groups.  To view the complete list, click here.

It has been a privilege to represent the 15th Legislative District in the Maryland House of Delegates, and if re-elected, I will continue to diligently work on your behalf.  I ask for your vote on Tuesday.

As Chair of the Montgomery County House Delegation, I believe that it is critical to elect strong, intelligent and substantive legislators to represent Montgomery County in Annapolis.  In District 15,  we are extremely fortunate to have a team which possesses these qualities and I am proud to be part of a formal slate with Senator Rob Garagiola, Delegate Kathleen Dumais and Aruna Miller.  I urge you to vote for the entire team.

Election Night Victory Party

Finally, I wish to express my sincere appreciation to everyone who volunteered and  provided financial support during the campaign.  After the polls close on Tuesday evening, please join the District 15 Team for food, drinks and conversation, as we watch the election results.  The Election Night Party will be held at Beale Street Grill (www.bealestreetgrill.com), which is located in the Traville Gateway Shopping Center on Shady Grove Road, near the Universities of Shady Grove.
